David Patrick joined the New Hampshire Chapter of The Nature Conservancy in 2015 as Director of Conservation Programs, and works with his team to undertake terrestrial, marine, and freshwater conservation planning and implementation. Prior to joining TNC, Dave was the Executive Director of the Center for Adirondack Biodiversity and an Assistant Professor of Fisheries and Wildlife Science at Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondack Park, NY. Dave holds a B.Sc. in Zoology and Animal Ecology; an M.Sc. in Conservation Biology; and a Ph.D. in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Maine, Orono, and has conducted ecological research in the United Kingdom, Tanzania, and the United States. Dave and his family live in a traditional New England farmhouse in Wilmot built in 1885, growing and canning as much of their food as possible, as well as keeping bees, chickens, and ducks
